    Re: Week 7

Lee High vs Clintwood - Interesing game Lee is MUCH better than there record and I am not sure Graham can be stoped (The thought of him playing for someone with a strong D like GC is a scary thought) This game could LIKE almost all Lee games come down to who has the ball last.......I think CWoods abality to control the tempo of the game and superior kicking game will be the diff in this game

Eastside vs Rye Cove - Eastside needs to win this one in order to stay in the hunt for a district championship.......RC is a power running team and East Side has shown that they can be a tough team to run against so I am taking them in the mini upset

Haysi Tigers vs Thomas Walker - TW presents some matchup problems for Haysi BUT this Haysi team is growing up FAST and will find a way to win

Union vs Sullivan North - Union is a good team but they need to bounce back from last Friday and get back to winning.....SN is no pushover but I will Stick with the LPD in this one

Castlewood vs Twin Valley - CW is on a 2 game skid and TV is just the team that they need to stop the bleeding

Johnson County vs Central - Central should have this one wraped up by halftime so long as there is no hangover from last Fridays big win

    Re: Week 7

LEE VS CLINTWOOD= Lee High is a running team with IMO the best running back in the area, on the other hand Clintwood has a running back 11 who is just as powerful and almost as quick as Graham. The difference maker is DEFENSE. Clintwood wins 42 to 21
EASTSIDE VS RYE COVE= omg!!!! Eastside is going to suffer another Cumberland District lose. Rye Cove wins 27 to 14
HAYSI VS THOMAS WALKER= Thom Walker has speed but they arent equiped to handle smash mouth football. Haysi wins 28 to 7
UNION VS SULLIVAN NORTH= The bears gave up 20 oint lead to loose 30 to 26 to an average at best clintwood (not throwing off on CW, just stating facts) by switching from what was working to the spread (maybe phill robbins is still in someones ear at Union) and playing the worst defense i have ever seen. Sullivan North is fast and good for sullivan north so IMO union is going to have to play ALL 4 QUARTERS OF THE GAME! depending on which Union team shows up depends on if they win or loose. Im ridin the Union train till I die Union wins 26 to 14
CASTLEWOOD VS TWIN VALLEY= Castlewood has really dissaoppointed me seeing how they got all the "good" players from st paul. They are typical SWVA football, good one game, sorry the next. Twin Valley wins 28 to 14
JOHNSON COUNTY VS CENTRAL= Central has been playing better ball than what people originally planned. idk a thing about Johnson Co so Central wins 35 to 34

North is just flat out good. They have been putting 35-40+ on everyone they have played, everyone except Eastside who held them to 28.

    Re: Week 7

Lee High vs. Clintwood---Definitely the hardest game for me to pick. Clintwood is coming off a big win over Union and Lee High is coming off another tough loss to an LPD team. Lee High will want to beat Clintwood so they don't go 0-4 in the LPD...I think it comes down to defense...Tyler Graham is unbelievable and Clintwood will have to step it up to stop him. In the end I say the Generals pull out the win!

Eastside vs. Rye Cove--- The Spartans are searching for a win! I think they get it this week!

Haysi vs. Thomas Walker--- The Pioneers have some key offensive players but will have to step up defense to have any chance of stopping the cats!
I am going with the gang from Ewing!

Union vs. Sullivan North--- Depends on what Union team shows up.... I say Sullivan North!

Castlewood vs. Twin Valley--- Blue Devils

Central vs. Johnson County--- Warriors coming off a HUGE win over Lee High--they take another W against the Longhorns!

Good luck to everyone this week! Thanks for all of the fans who come out and support these kids week after week.
It's blackout week at Central so plan to wear black if you are coming to UVA Wise Friday night!!!

Johnson County is winless (0-6 on the year) has been outscored on average 40.3 to 8 this season. The Longhorns went 2-8 in their 2010 campaign.

Sullivan North has a good team but has played a very "friendly" schedule.

It wasn't you,but some folk from GC were giving me a hard time on here, telling me how pitiful North was going to be when I said they'd be solid. Looks like at 7-0 I was right
